Agriculture
Podravka Agri is the largest agricultural company in Croatia, managing 37 pig and cattle farms and cultivating 33,000 hectares of arable land. Its own raw materials ensure traceability in the production of domestic dairy products, traditional cured meat products, and wines.
The Agriculture segment of the Podravka Group operates through Podravka Agri, which manages agricultural companies acquired in the first half of 2025. It is a company 84.99 percent owned by Podravka d.d., while the remaining 15.01 percent is held by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Podravka Agri manages the companies Belje, PIK Vinkovci, Vupik, Energija Gradec, Belje Agro-Vet, and Felix.
Behind Podravka Agri’s agricultural companies are 2,350 employees working at more than one hundred locations, continuing traditions that date back to 1697 in Belje, 1945 in Vupik, and 1962 in PIK Vinkovci.
Belje
Headquartered in Darda, Belje is one of the oldest companies in Croatia, with 328 years of tradition. Arable farming and seed production, an animal feed factory with silos, pig farming with 11 farms, cattle farming with six beef cattle farms and seven dairy farms, dairy product factories in Osijek and Beli Manastir, the Baranjka factory for the production of long-lasting cured meat products, as well as vineyards, a winery, and an old cellar are key parts of Belje’s production.
Vupik
Vupik plus d.o.o. has been a symbol of Vukovar’s economy for almost 80 years, and the company’s main activities are arable farming and vegetable growing, a transshipment port, viticulture and winemaking, pig farming, and cattle farming. Vupik dates back to 1945 and was founded with the aim of production in the area of the city of Vukovar and the surrounding settlements.
PIK Vinkovci
For more than 60 years, PIK Vinkovci plus has been the backbone of agriculture in Vinkovci and the surrounding area. The company’s activities are divided into the production of arable and vegetable crops, cooperation, drying and storage of cereals and oilseeds, seed material processing, storage and packaging of fruit and vegetables, and livestock production.
Energija Gradec
Energija Gradec is the most significant domestic company engaged in the production of electricity from biogas plants. The biogas plants in Gradec, Ovčara, Popovac, Mitrovac, and Vinka produce 24% of the total electricity generated from biogas in Croatia.
Belje Agro-Vet
Belje Agro-vet plus provides veterinary services on the farms of Belje, Vupik, and PIK Vinkovci, as well as in cooperation arrangements. Veterinarians are divided into specialized teams for pig farming, dairy cattle farming, beef fattening, and cooperation. Each team of experts is tasked with improving herd health and training employees on the farms.
