Long-standing successful partnerships
From the very beginning of its operations, the strength and value of sport have been recognized as an exceptionally high-quality way of bringing young people together and spreading a competitive spirit, as well as an excellent form of promoting Croatia around the world.
Particular emphasis should be placed on some of the most successful partnerships – with Podravka Vegeta Handball Club, the most decorated women’s handball club in history, and Slaven Belupo Football Club, one of the longest-standing first league football clubs, which can also boast numerous European appearances throughout its history.
Podravka Vegeta Handball Club is one of the most successful women’s sports teams in Croatia and proudly bears the name of Podravka, that is, Podravka’s most recognizable brand.
Podravka Vegeta has won 27 Croatian championship titles and 26 Croatian Cup titles. The club achieved its greatest success in 1996 by winning the title of European champion and the Super Cup.
The Podravka Vegeta handball players are among Podravka’s most recognizable ambassadors, and with their high-quality performances on the court they regularly present Podravka in an excellent light.
They also regularly participate in numerous activations, such as product promotions or social gatherings with employees.
Slaven Belupo Football Club is one of the longest-standing first league football clubs in Croatia and has played one of the key roles in Croatian football for almost thirty years.
The club can boast several notable seasons in which it finished at the very top of the league table, as well as three Cup finals.
Likewise, Slaven’s football players have on several occasions also played so-called European matches. Some of the better-known names of the European football scene arrived in Koprivnica.
Like Podravka’s handball players, Slaven’s football players are among the best-known ambassadors of the Podravka Group and are always ready to socialize with employees.
Long-standing cooperation with the local community
Aware of their exceptional importance for the community, the Podravka Group gives preference to those projects that promote true values and are distinguished by quality, uniqueness, and the benefit their implementation brings to the local as well as the wider community.
Podravka thus cooperates with local, primarily sports clubs, most of which carry the Podravka name in their official title.
Belje is a long-standing sponsor of sports clubs in Baranja and a patron of preserving local culture and tradition.
PIK Vinkovci is a prominent sponsor of Vinkovačke jeseni, an event that proudly preserves traditional culture and heritage.
Multi-year sponsorships
In addition to long-standing local collaborations, Podravka nurtures multi-year partnerships with numerous events, associations, federations, and organizations.
Among them, the sponsorships of the Sports Games of Youth, the Croatian Athletic Federation, the Croatian Handball Federation, that is, the Croatian women’s national handball team, and the ATP Umag stand out.
