The goal of employee assessment is to identify employees’ strengths and areas for development, taking into account the specific requirements of the position and the organization. Management Competency Development Program

I have been employed at Podravka since 2015 as a graphic designer in the Design Studio. This is my first job, and for the past nine years I have been part of a wonderful team that taught me everything I know about the profession, while working in such a large and renowned company has shaped me professionally into the person I am today.

I had the opportunity to participate in the “Management Competency Development Program” training. The training was excellently designed so that in a fun way, in small groups, we could discover new and useful information that we now use every day in our work.

The groups included colleagues from various sectors with whom I had not previously had the opportunity to communicate and collaborate, so we all got to know each other and connect.

The programs we went through made me aware of certain parts of my personality that I still need to work on in order to be as successful as possible in both my professional and personal life.

Procurement Academy

I became a Podravka employee a little less than a year ago, after several years of experience working in other international companies. My wish had always been to work for and be part of the largest food company in the region.

Participation in the Procurement Academy included several different modules. Each module conveyed a wide range of useful and specific knowledge and skills. Negotiation training, solving tasks in teams, preparing structured tenders, data analysis, and discussions about everyday practical cases are certainly some of the elements I will remember most from the Procurement Academy.

The training contributed to the development of my competencies, primarily from the perspective of market and supplier analysis, brainstorming, and preparation for strategic negotiations, which will certainly contribute to my further career development.

MBA – Business Management

After graduating from the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology in Zagreb, majoring in Nutrition, I started my career in the field of dietetics and nutrition, and then moved to Podravka d.d., where I work as a Marketing Manager.

In order to expand my knowledge beyond my core profession, I enrolled in the MBA Business Management program at the University of Zagreb. The program enabled me to better understand the economic and managerial aspects of the food industry and to develop skills such as strategic planning, resource management and team leadership. I also gained insight into business models, finance and marketing, which helps me adapt innovative food solutions to market needs.

I see this education as an important step in connecting professional and business competencies, enabling me to contribute even more effectively to the success of the Podravka Group.
