On the website www.podravkagrupa.com/hr PODRAVKA, as the controller of personal data, has integrated Facebook components. Facebook is a social network.
A social network is a place for social interaction on the internet, an online community that usually allows users to communicate with each other in a virtual space. A social network serves as a platform for exchanging opinions and experiences, or for providing the internet community with personal or business-related information. Facebook allows its users to create private profiles, upload pictures and connect through friend requests.
Facebook is owned by Meta Platforms Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA. If a person using Facebook lives outside the USA or Canada, the controller of personal data is Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. Meta Platforms Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA is an independent controller.
When opening the website www.podravkagrupa.com, the data subject’s browser will display the corresponding Facebook component, which is a result of using the Facebook plugin. An overview of all Facebook plugins can be found at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/. During this technical procedure, Facebook is informed of the specific subpage visited by the data subject.
If, as a data subject, you are logged into Facebook, Facebook may at the same time detect each of your visits to the website www.podravkagrupa.com. This information is collected through the Facebook component and assigned to the data subject’s Facebook account. If the data subject clicks on any Facebook button integrated into the website www.podravkagrupa.com/hr, e.g. the “Like” button, or if the data subject posts a comment, Facebook associates this information with the data subject’s personal Facebook account and stores the personal data.
Each time the data subject is logged into Facebook and at the same time accesses the website www.podravkagrupa.com/hr, Facebook will, through the Facebook component, receive information about this. This will happen regardless of whether the data subject clicks on the Facebook component or not. If the data subject does not wish this type of information transfer, this can be prevented by logging out of the Facebook account before accessing the website www.podravkagrupa.com/hr.
