Cake topping
Dolcela cake topping can be prepared with water, but the flavour will be richer if you use fruit juice instead (fruit will also give it a colour).
Contains sugar, as energy source, and natural thickeners like carrageenan and caruba gum, insoluble fiber. Added fruits will turn an ordinary cake into a sweet masterpiece.
Preparation / Ingredients
mix the contents of the bag with 40g (2 tablespoons) of sugar and 3 tablespoons of cold water that you took away from 2,5 dl water. The rest of the water bring to boil, remove from heat, pour in the prepared mixture and bring to a boil, stirring. Cool the topping for 1 minute and pour over the cake covered with fruit. After 30 minutes of cooling, the cake can be cut. Instead of water you can use fruit juice.
