General information

These Privacy Protection Rules (hereinafter: the Rules) describe which of your personal data we collect, how we process them and for what purposes we use them, as well as your rights related to your data.

Podravka d.d., Koprivnica, Ante Starčevića 32, OIB 18928523252 (hereinafter: “Podravka“) processes the personal data of users of its services in accordance with the applicable regulations governing personal data protection (General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679).

We respect your privacy and process personal data fairly and lawfully, exclusively on the basis of valid legal grounds, that is, in accordance with your consents for processing.

Method and purposes of personal data processing

Through surveys, we collect information about your satisfaction with our products and other useful data so that we can adapt them to your needs and for the purpose of promoting public relations. The results of the conducted surveys are exclusively aggregated and anonymous. To participate in surveys under the responsibility of Podravka Research, you apply by completing the invitation questionnaire, after which you become a member of the Podravka Online Panel. The personal contact data we collect in this way are processed exclusively for the purpose of implementing prize awards and prize delivery. To implement prize awards based on participation in Podravka surveys, we need your first name, last name, email, contact phone number and prize delivery address. We retain the collected data in the database for as long as you remain an active member of the Podravka Online Panel.

Contacting us

If you contact us with your inquiries, the data you provide are processed exclusively for the purpose of providing the requested information. After responding to your inquiry, we will delete the submitted data.
Personal data necessary for resolving your inquiry are kept for 24 months from the date of receipt in accordance with the regulations governing consumer rights. All inquiries related to membership in the Podravka Online Panel can be sent to the email address istrazivanje.trzista@podravka.hr.

Recipients of personal data

Podravka will forward your personal data to other recipients exclusively on the basis of a legal obligation or a justified request from an authorized public authority (e.g. courts).
If necessary, personal data will also be forwarded to trusted partners (processors) for the purposes of enabling user support, maintaining the information system, market research or similar needs, with mandatory confidentiality and data protection measures.

Protection of personal data

We process the collected personal data with the mandatory application of appropriate legal, technical and organizational security measures in order to prevent any unauthorized processing of data. Access to your personal data is restricted only to those employees who need this information in order to provide our services. We continuously educate our employees about the importance of data confidentiality and preserving privacy and protecting your data. We collect only the data necessary for the relevant processing and do not keep them longer than necessary, or as prescribed by law.

Your rights

At any time, you may request information from us about the processing of your personal data and request the exercise of the following rights:

• the right to access data relating to you
• correction or completion of your personal data so that they are always accurate
• deletion of personal data (if there are no justified reasons for retaining the data)
• restriction of the processing of personal data, for example when you contest the accuracy of personal data, for the period while we verify their accuracy
• withdrawal of consent to data processing

Requests, complaints or inquiries relating to the processing and protection of personal data may be sent to the email address dpo@podravka.hr.
In accordance with the applicable legal regulations governing personal data protection, every request/inquiry will be resolved as soon as possible, and no later than within 30 days of receipt.
When contacting us and submitting the above requests, we will make reasonable efforts to confirm your identity and prevent unauthorized processing of personal data.
