Shepherd’s stew
The Podravka shepherd’s stew unites the best of two worlds – the sauce and the meat in this recipe create a perfect harmony. This excellent dish is made according to the original Slavonian recipe from high quality beef and pork, with the addition of fine paprika from Baranja that gives it that special and distinctive taste of the best homemade shepherd’s stew.
It can be served as is, or you can add homemade dumplings or noodles for an even richer flavour experience!
Preparation / Ingredients
Heating on the stove: Empty contents of the can into pot and heat on low for 2-3 minutes.
Microwave heating: Empty contents in microwave safe bowl, cover and heat for 2-3 minutes on 700 W.
water, meat 40% (beef and pork in various ratio), dried onion, corn starch, tomato concentrate, iodized salt, red pepper 0,1%, spices and spice extracts, vinegar, sugar. May contain wheat, eggs, soy, milk and celery in traces.
